Furthermore, with its ExAcT Qualification, RWTH offers a seminar program for the 2014 summer semester. The comprehensive portfolio of qualification offers supports teachers at RWTH Aachen University in planning and implementing courses and selecting suitable methods and media.

Within the framework of the Excellence in Academic Teaching certificate program teachers at RWTH Aachen University can demonstrate their involvement in teaching, their career as a teacher, and their university pedagogical qualification in a structured manner in three certificates that build on one another: basics, extensions, and advanced. This program was agreed upon by the TU9 universities, making it possible for performance and achievements to recognized by others members. Participation in the certificate program is particularly interesting for employees who are pursuing a career in scientific environment and would like proof of their university pedagogical qualification for application or appointment processes.

 

The RWTH Teaching Talk also took place in 2014 on the sixth floor of the SuperC. You can find information about this year's and past talks here.

Teachers, students, and the Dean of Studies' office have the possibility to participate in workshops - that primarily focus on teaching - and to strengthen the Faculty of Medicine's presence. Funding is possible if a participant's contribution was accepted (presentation, poster, workshop).
