Exams

 

The program includes regular controls and an examination at the end of the theoretical training in addition to the actual examination to obtain the PhD (Dr. rer. nat. / Dr. rer. medic.).

A program assessment takes place after about one and a half years and progress will be evaluated by the support group. The purpose of this assessment is to verify that the work is on schedule and insure that necessary publications can be made within the program period.

The program concludes with the PhD oral exam for the Dr. rer. nat. as well as for the Dr. rer. med.

For participants pursuing the title Dr. rer. nat. participation in the program is the first relevant step into the doctoral examination procedure of the Faculty 1 (biology, mathematics and computer science) . The members of the support group and the organization of the MD / PhD program serve to advise and provide assistance.
