Committee for Quality Improvement in Teaching and Academics

The Faculty has a committee for quality improvement in teaching and academics, the Quality Improvement Committee.

The Quality Improvement Committee has four teachers and five students from the Faculty, whereby there must be at least one student from each student representative council.

The chair of the Quality Improvement Committee is the dean of academics (teachers have voting rights).

Decisions made by the Quality Improvement Committee require a majority vote from the members of the council and a majority vote from the student representatives.

The Quality Improvement Committee's job is to process recommendations for allocating 25 and 50 percent of the request for the tuition fee replacement and quality improvement funds allocated to the faculty based the requests received. The recommendation is then submitted to the Dean's Office for approval.
