In our University hospital RWTH we will provide white coats and white trousers to wear during your rotations. There is once exception for students completing Famulatur, there will be no white trousers available.
The office Magazin will provide you with an electronic badge, necessary to identify yourself in the hospital, and also to have access to the white coats and white trousers.
Don’t forget to bring your own white closed shoes as part of the dress code!
Deposit for electronic student badge
20 euro (for incoming exchange students staying for a short period, no enrollment at RWTH Aachen University)
60 euro (for incoming exchange students enrolled at RWTH Aachen University)
The deposit is to be paid at the pay desk of the University hospital RWTH. Once you are in the entrance hall of the University hospital RWTH facing the escalators, the pay desk is to your left on the first floor, i.e. above the Kiosk and the Sparkasse.
Service hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 – 17:00
Opening hours Magazin:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8 am – 12 pm
Tuesday 12 am – 3 pm
Thursday 1 pm – 3 pm
The reimbursement of this deposit is conditioned to the return of all white coats and white trousers, return of the electronic badge and the original receipt of the deposit and a valid personal ID or passport.
Don’t forget to bring your own white shoes as part of the dress code!
Dress code in the OR
In the OR you will wear green or blue scrubs and trousers, which are available in the OR changing room. Access to the OR changing room with electronic student badge only!
