Graduate Celebration

On the initiative of the Medicine Student Representative Council, we have said goodbye to our graduates from the medical studies program in a graduation ceremony twice a year since 2008. The event takes place in the Aula or Aachen- und Münchener Halle in the RWTH Main Building and is populare among graduates and their families. More than 700 guests attend the ceremony in January!

In addition to a celebratory framework program with musical accompaniment and a keynote speaker, each individual graduate receives a commemorative certificate from the Dean and Dean of Studies in the presence of their parents and families. The event ends with a champagne reception in the foyer of the Main Building.

Our doctoral candidates are also honored during the graduation celebration in the summer. Doctoral awards and graduate scholarships are awarded during this event as well.

Graduates from the biomedical engineering course of study are bid farewell along with the graduates from the medicine course of study. The logopedics and dentistry courses of study organize their own celebrations.
