Digital Good Scientific Practice Course, June 8: Important Information
DIGITAL Good Scientific Practice (GSP/GWP) -Course takes place on June 8, 2022 at 12 noon (In English language only!) as Video Conference via Zoom. It is no presence event!

If you want to ask questions, you need a microphone and you must have Zoom installed as a program on your device. The course will take place on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 12 to ca. 17 o'clock (5 pm).
Registration for the digital test on June 8, 2022 at 5 pm is mandatory!
The subsequent digital
test, which must be passed in order to obtain the GWP/GSP certificate, will take place on June 8, 2022 at 17 o'clock (5 pm) in the learning room via RWTHmoodle.
You cannot enter this test before 08th June 2022 at 17 o'clock (5 pm)!!!
Students/employees of RWTH Aachen who have already been registered in the Identity Management of RWTH Aachen University and who already have a user name (in the form: ab123456), please send an e-mail (. . . @rwth-aachen.de) by June 7, 2022 24 o'clock (deadline) to email@example.com, for registration (plus matriculation number, if available). You will then be accepted as a participant in the RWTHmoodle Learning Room and will receive an Email as confirmation with link to the Learning Room (the learning room will be opened on June 8, 2022 not before 17 o'clock (5 pm)).
firstname.lastname@example.org is a functional e-mail address from which neither information, answers to the GSP course nor services can be obtained.
Persons with a . . . @ukaachen.de E-mail address must have already registered with RWTH via the Identity Management Self-Service System with user name (TIM) and password (RWTH Single Sign-on). Otherwise, you can only use the Coupon Code procedure (see below).
External persons without a user name: These persons must first be “partnered” by the RWTH partner procedure. Therefore, please register first as soon as possible at email@example.com, after that you will receive a Coupon Code, so that you can register with the RWTH Aachen University via ConnectMe until the June 3, 2022 24:00 o’clock (deadline). Subsequently, the person can also be added by the GSP Team to the learning room as a participant.
General Informations about the Courses "Academic Misconduct and Good Academic Practice"
As of June 1, 2013, prospective doctoral candidates are required to submit a certificate of participation from the course "Academic Misconduct and Good Academic Practice."
The course is offered three times a year outside of lecture periods – in the spring, around Pentecost, and in the fall. You do not have to register for this course.

Participants will not receive certificates of participation in person, as they will be passed on to the Doctoral Office and used to complement the applications for admission to doctoral studies. A list of individuals, for whom the Doctoral Office has receive a certificate of participation, is available in the download section below.
Please note that the RWTH Center for Doctoral Studies also offers courses on good academic practice. These are offered in English.
