The Dean's Office is the governing body of the faculty.

In accordance the NRW Higher Education Act, it is responsible for all matters and decisions in the faculty, for which no other committee is expressly responsible.

Members of the Dean's Office include the dean and vice-deans, who support the dean with diverse matters and responsibilities.

In order to ensure collaboration with Aachen University Hospital, the Dean's Office also includes the medical and business directors, who serve in advisory roles. The Dean's Office carries out the administration of the Faculty of Medicine.
